New Pictures
Here are some photos from trips we have taken this summer. We went to Disneyland for Jonny's birthday. Then to the beach at Santa Monica. We also went to Las Vegas and visited Uncle Tim & Aunt Cindy.

The First Year
Jonathan Alexander (Danielovich) Armstrong has successfully completed his first full (and BIG) year of life. How about a little stroll down Baby Lane? Well, just take a moment and check me out:
Zero (НУЛЬ)
I was born ready to go. My Momma cannot believe that I am so big. Yes, there was over 23 inches of me and almost 11 pounds, or about 4.9 kilograms. My first day was spent at the hospital, but I was ready to go home on day 2.
One (ОДИН) Month
Already 6 kg and swimming is my favorite thing to do. Yes, I love taking rides in the car but don't like when the sun shines in my eyes. I smile at Mommy & Daddy when I am sleeping.
Two (ДВОЕ) Months
Now 7 kg and can you guess... I love to eat very much! Sleep, who needs it? Only 2 thirty minute naps during the day and at night it might be 8 hours all together. My Mommy cannot believe how much I love swimming. More smiles are on my face every day, and I'm not content to stay in one place. I crawl like an inchworm, because I don't want to stay in one place.
Three (ТРИ) Months
Keeping up the pace my scale says 8 kg and 66 centimeters (26 inches). I can sit by myself and it is fun to look at magazines and the books my parents buy for me. My favorite is the Monkey book. Sounds I can make sound like singing. Eating is my favorite activity and there is just no time for sleep.... so much to learn! My sister Alyssa left for Africa... we said good bye at the San Francisco airport. I miss her!
Four (ЧЕТЫРЕ) Months
Now I can move around the entire house with the new walker Mommy & Daddy bought for me. I can even go into the back bedrooms.
Five (ПЯТЬ) Months
9 kg and 57 cm. Walking in my walker is very fun and i read many books every day.
Six (ШЕСТЬ) Months
10 kg and 69 cm. My first two teeth grew at this month and I took my first airplane flight. It was for Christmas to see my sisters and my niece. In the airplane many people smiled at me and cannot believe that I do not cry on the entire flight. I also went to see Uncle Tim, Aunt Cindy and Cousin Travis in Kingman, AZ. After that visit we drove to the Grand Canyon. I also went to Yuma, AZ with my Dad for his work. It was hot there!
Seven (СЕМЬ) Months
10.5 kg and 70 cm. Now I have 5 teeth and Momma and Yulia took me to Ukraine (УКРАИНА). It was about 30 hours in planes and airports, and then 24 hours on the train in Ukraine. Can you believe that trip in the middle of the Ukrainian winter. Now I can stand up by myself and walk when I hold Mommy's hand. It was my first experience at cold weather but Grandpa and Grandma bought me a snow suit... that really was better. I enjoy reading magazines. I always make eyes for women and they smile so much at me. My cousin Nikita played with me all the time and made me laugh every day. This was also the first time I could eat solid food.
Eight (ВОСЕМЬ) Months
11 kg and 71 cm. I am still in Ukraine and I have six teeth. My Daddy came to Kiev to spend time with family and then bring all of us back to New York and then San Francisco. That was a fun trip and good to be back home in California. Now I begin saying Momma, Dada. Walking is very easy when people hold my hand. My favorite car is Daddy's blue 350 Z, and wow, I wish I could ride in it. Yippeee!! Alyssa returns from Africa. She has so many good pictures to show.
Nine (ДЕВЯТЬ) Months
12 kg and 72 cm. I am learning about how things work. It is fun to watch the gate open and Baby Einstein is my favorite TV show. It was the first time I make steps by myself without any help. And most of the time I hold things to walk. It is not any fun being in my walker any more!
Ten (ДЕСЯТЬ) Months
12.5 kg and 73 cm. Now I walk all the time by myself. Yes, it is very hard for Mommy, but now she is always running to keep up with me. New hobby is to ride the swing behind my house. I read more and more books.
Eleven (ОДИННАДЦАТЬ) Months
13.5 kg and 75 cm. Now I must run everywhere I go. Mommy cannot catch me and I really have fun learning about new things around the house. IT is very fun when my parents take me to the beach and I can play in the sand. We went to Sequoia National Park in the Seirra Mountains and people were laughing because I didn't want to ride in the stroller but wanted to push it instead! Now I dance whenever I hear music. My moves are like an elephant, but Mommy loves to call me her "Little Hippo". I learn what it means when Mommy says NO. That is no fun and it makes me cry! boo hoo
Twelve (ДВЕНАДЦАТЬ) Months
15 kg and 79 cm. Mommy signed me up for swimming lessons at the YMCA. We go 4 times every week and I working out to join the swim team! Guess what, I finally learned to crawl. Yep, before this I only could push myself across the floor, but now I can get up on all fours and crawl. I watch Daddy and learn to brush my hair. And Mommy caught me kissing myself in the mirror... go figure! I push the chairs all over the dining room and kitchen. No job is too big for me. You should see my muscles. Mommy taught me to say Ball (МЯЧ) and we play ball together. I can open every door in the house and even know how to flush soap down the toilet. Every button on the tv, stereo, and any other gadgets are so much fun to play with. I sing songs and dance with the music on tv.
